Cleaning supervisor (TEER 2: 62024)

VP Can Enterprises inc. has immediate opening for a 2 Cleaning supervisor (TEER 2: 62024) at our Thunder Bay in, Ontario.

As a Cleaning supervisor (TEER 2: 62024), you will perform some or all the following duties:

·         Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the work of light duty, industrial, or specialized cleaners and janitorial staff

·         Inspect work sites and facilities to ensure compliance with established safety and cleanliness standards

·         Hire, train, and onboard cleaning staff

·         Prepare work schedules and coordinate activities with other departments or clients

·         Prepare operational budgets, estimate costs, and maintain financial and administrative records

·         Coordinate or arrange additional services as required, such as painting, repairs, renovations, or replacement of furnishings and equipment

·         May perform cleaning duties as required to support the team

·         Make recommendations or make arrangements for any extra services that are needed, such as painting, repairs, renovations, or equipment and furniture replacement.

Qualifications:

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Previous experience as a cleaning supervisor is an asset.

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (32 hours/week)

Compensation:  $ 36.05/hour
