Job Description:

Carmel Transport International LTD. is seeking one qualified Dispatcher to coordinate and manage daily transportation operations for both long-haul and local routes. The successful candidate will ensure efficient scheduling, effective communication with drivers, and timely delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule drivers, equipment, and deliveries to meet operational requirements
• Dispatch drivers and monitor routes to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
• Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and support
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or logistical issues
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, driver logs, and delivery documentation
• Use dispatch software, GPS systems, and communication tools to manage operations
• Liaise with customers to confirm pickup and delivery details
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
• Respond to unexpected situations and adjust schedules as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or transportation operations is an asset
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written English)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency in computer systems and dispatch software
• Knowledge of transportation routes, safety regulations, and industry practices is an asset
