Big Blue Truck Centre Inc. is a heavy equipment repair and maintenance company located in Brampton, Ontario. The company specializes in diagnostics, inspections, repairs, engine rebuilds, preventative maintenance, DPF services, and computer diagnostics for heavy-duty equipment, diesel engines, commercial vehicles, and related mechanical systems serving the transportation, construction and agricultural industry. Big Blue Truck Centre Inc. currently has an immediate opening for an experienced Administrative Services Manager at our Brampton location.

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the administrative operations of the company’s business support services and office functions.
  • Develop and implement administrative procedures, operational policies, and internal systems to improve organizational efficiency and administrative effectiveness.
  • Coordinate office administration activities including records management, invoicing, payroll coordination, purchasing documentation, customer records, and internal administrative processes.
  • Manage procurement administration, vendor coordination, inventory records, office supply control, and purchasing activities while ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with company procedures.
  • Oversee administrative staff including office coordinators, dispatch personnel, administrative assistants, billing clerks, customer service representatives, and support staff.
  • Establish and monitor administrative budgets, expense tracking systems, operational reports, and financial documentation procedures.
  • Coordinate vendor contracts, supplier agreements, service providers, and external administrative support services.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace documentation requirements, licensing records, safety documentation, regulatory filings, and corporate administrative procedures.
  • Develop and maintain filing systems, operational databases, company records, inspection documentation, and internal reporting systems.
  • Coordinate scheduling systems, internal workflow procedures, and communication processes between departments, vendors, customers, and administrative personnel.
  • Assist senior management in improving administrative efficiency, office procedures, customer service processes, and internal communication systems.
  • Participate in the hiring, training, scheduling, supervision, and performance evaluation of administrative support staff.
  • Review and evaluate administrative operations and recommend procedural improvements to increase productivity and organizational effectiveness.
  • Prepare management reports related to budgeting, purchasing activities, inventory records, customer accounts, administrative services, and operational administration.

Employment Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, commerce, public administration, or a related field is required.
  • 3 to 5 years of management or supervisory experience in an administrative, operations support, office management, or business services environment is required.
  • Experience coordinating administrative operations, budgeting, procurement, records management, and office procedures is required.
  • Experience supervising administrative staff and coordinating workflow processes is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, scheduling systems, and administrative reporting systems is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced work environment.
  • English language ability is required.
