Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Supervise and care for children in the employer’s residence
· Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
· Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
· Help children with homework and educational activities
· Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
· Wash, iron, and maintain children’s clothing and household linens
· Discipline children according to methods requested by the parents
· Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
· Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
· Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
· Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
· Tend to the emotional well-being of children
· Take children to and from school, appointments, and extracurricular activities
· Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to childcare
· Shop for food and household supplies
Employment Requirements:
· Secondary(high) school graduation certificate
· At least 7 months of related child caregiving experience required
· Responsible, reliable, and organized
· Ability to communicate in English
