Salary: $37.50 per hour for 40 hours per week; able to work flexible hours when necessary.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess characteristics of products or services to be promoted in order to determine marketing and advertising requirements for events and client initiatives
  • Advise clients on marketing, advertising, branding, and sales promotion opportunities and strategies related to event execution and audience engagement.
  • Develop and implement strategies, including promotional activities for live, virtual, and hybrid events.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate public relations strategies and communication programs to inform clients, employees, stakeholders, and the public about organizational initiatives and events.
  • Prepare and oversee reports, presentations, briefs, speeches, websites, press releases, and event-related communication materials.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage workshops, conferences, ceremonies, corporate meetings, live productions, and other events for publicity, fundraising, networking, and informational purposes.
  • Act as a point of contact or spokesperson for event-related communications and respond to written and verbal inquiries from clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate special publicity events, activations, and promotional campaigns for both internal and external audiences.
  • Coordinate vendors, production teams, logistics, schedules, budgets, and onsite operations to ensure successful event delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Manage event timelines, staffing requirements, technical production coordination, and communication between departments and external partners.
  • Oversee event setup, execution, and strike activities while ensuring compliance with operational, safety, and client requirements.
  • Prepare and oversee contracts, vendor agreements, production requirements, and service documentation related to events, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities.

Qualifications:

  • Language: English
  • Education: Secondary education or equivalent working experience; A university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications or a related discipline an asset
  • Experience: Minimum experience of one (1) year in the industry
