As a Warehouse Supervisor (TEER 2: 12013), you will perform some or all of the following duties:
• Co-ordinate, assign and dispatch drivers; scheduling transportation and routes
• Processing purchasing transactions
• Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
• Co-ordinate activities with other supply-chain work units or departments
• Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
• Resolve work related problems
• Prepare and submit progress and other reports
• Train and guide other employees in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Check and manage inventory, supplies and materials
• Supervise, assign and review the work of dispatchers, drivers, and logistics clerks
• Ensure smooth operation of computer systems and equipment and arrange for maintenance and repair work
Qualifications:
• Completion of secondary school is required;
• Completion of a post-secondary education program of two to three years in business, supply
chain, production or manufacturing management and related is usually required or
• 2-3 years of experience in the occupation supervised is required.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (35 hours/week)
Compensation: $ 31.00/hour
