Kiokii Inc. is a rapidly growing Asian beauty and lifestyle retailer headquartered in the Greater Toronto Area. Specializing in Korean, Japanese, and Chinese beauty products, the company operates an expanding network of retail stores across Canada, supported by its e-commerce platform.
As Kiokii continues to expand its retail footprint and product offerings, we are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Project Manager to evaluate, improve, and optimize our supply chain management systems and operational processes.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives that enhance procurement efficiency, supplier performance, inventory planning, operational coordination, and overall supply chain effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Operations Analysis and Improvement
- Analyze existing supply chain management practices, organizational workflows, and operational procedures to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of procurement, inventory planning, supplier coordination, and product distribution processes across the company’s retail and e-commerce operations.
- Develop and recommend improved operating procedures, management systems, and organizational methods to enhance supply chain efficiency and business performance.
- Lead supply chain optimization projects, including process redesign, workflow standardization, and implementation of operational improvements.
Supplier Management and Strategic Sourcing Optimization
- Evaluate existing supplier management practices and develop strategies to improve supplier performance, procurement efficiency, and long-term supply chain stability.
- Analyze sourcing structures, supplier capabilities, purchasing costs, and procurement risks associated with international and domestic suppliers.
- Recommend improvements to supplier qualification, performance evaluation, sourcing strategies, and procurement management procedures.
- Develop supplier performance measurement frameworks and risk mitigation strategies to support reliable product availability and sustainable business growth.
- Recommend and support improvements to enterprise resource planning (ERP), inventory management, and supply chain reporting processes.
Demand Planning and Inventory Management Improvement
- Assess existing demand forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment procedures to identify operational gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and recommend standardized inventory planning methods to improve product availability across retail locations and online sales channels.
- Analyze historical sales trends, inventory turnover, product demand patterns, and supply lead times to support management decision-making.
- Design process improvements aimed at minimizing inventory shortages, excess stock, and unnecessary operational costs.
Supply Chain Project Management and Implementation
- Plan and implement supply chain improvement projects aligned with the company’s operational objectives and business expansion plans.
- Establish project objectives, timelines, performance indicators, and implementation strategies.
- Collaborate with purchasing, retail operations, finance, logistics, and other relevant departments to ensure effective implementation of recommended improvements.
- Monitor project progress, evaluate outcomes, and prepare performance reports and recommendations for senior management.
Supply Chain Risk Assessment and Performance Evaluation
- Conduct assessments of supply chain risks, including supplier dependency, delivery delays, inventory shortages, and international sourcing disruptions.
- Develop risk mitigation recommendations and contingency procedures to strengthen supply chain resilience.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to supplier reliability, inventory efficiency, procurement costs, and operational performance.
- Prepare analytical reports and present findings, recommendations, and project outcomes to senior management.
Employment Requirements
Education
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, commerce, operations management, or a related discipline is required.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in supply chain management, business operations analysis, procurement optimization, or supply chain improvement projects.
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing business processes and implementing operational improvement initiatives.
- Experience in supplier performance evaluation, strategic sourcing, demand planning, and inventory management.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Experience with international sourcing or multi-location retail supply chain operations is an asset; familiarity with eastern Asian culture and product is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain planning, procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory optimization.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean management and process optimization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using ERP systems, such as SAP, or comparable business management software.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to evaluate operational performance, develop improvement recommendations, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
