As a Long haul truck driver, you will perform some or all of the following duties: Truck Driver performs some or all of the following duties: Operate and drive primarily trailor, long-combination vehicle and weighing over 4500 kg to transport goods and materials over long distances. Loading and unloading of goods when needed. Record Shortages and reject damaged goods. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Conduct Pre-Trip, en route and post trip inspections of whole vehicle including tires, signals, brakes and storage. Plan travel schedules, routes ahead and obtain necessary documentation for transporting goods. Arrange travel related itineraries and make reservations.
