Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, Post-secondary diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a closely related field. Mechanical systems and design; Fluid power systems; Thermodynamics; Mechatronics and automation
Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a mechanical engineering technician
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities: Create user manuals, Install machinery, Repair and maintain machinery, Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects, Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials, Estimate costs and materials, Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications, Prepare standards and schedules, Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants, Supervise, monitor and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects, Test machines and equipment
Supervision: 1 to 2 people
