A JOURNEY TO ENCHANTMENT INC is seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing & Events Manager to lead our promotional efforts and enhance audience engagement for our spectacular light show events.
As our Marketing & Events Manager, you will be instrumental in:
- Driving Social Media Growth: Leveraging your expertise to expand our social media presence and boost engagement across all platforms, ensuring optimal reach for our Halloween and Christmas light shows2.
- Crafting Compelling Content: Developing, editing, and scheduling engaging media and infographics that captivate our audience and drive ticket sales and client retention.
- Optimizing Marketing Strategies: Evaluating current marketing approaches and implementing innovative recommendations to significantly increase website traffic and online engagement for our seasonal events.
- Event Coordination and Promotion: Applying your strong communication and organizational skills to assist in community engagement, including calendaring, scheduling events, and managing event logistics to ensure seamless execution of our light shows.
- Strategic Planning: Utilizing quantitative data and research to develop effective strategies that maximize attendance and ensure high retention rates for our recurring events.
- Collaborating and Leading: Working closely with various teams, potentially overseeing design aspects for promotional materials, and leveraging your leadership skills to achieve marketing objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as International Studies or Comparative Literature, with a focus on Cinema & Media Studies.
- Proven experience in marketing and social media management, with a track record of improving channel growth and engagement.
- Demonstrated ability in drafting, editing, and scheduling various forms of media.
- Experience in evaluating marketing strategies and recommending amendments for increased website traffic and online engagement.
- Strong communication, marketing, and quick-thinking skills, including experience with sales tactics and improvisation.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Canva, Hootsuite, and MailChimp.
- Certifications in Google Digital Marketing & E-commerce and Google AI Essentials are a significant asset.
- Ability to prioritize project responsibilities with tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English.
