Job Duties
- Load, unload, and move construction materials to work areas.
- Assist heavy equipment operators and truck drivers with on-site tasks.
- Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris and obstacles.
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as gravel, asphalt, and concrete.
- Use hand and power tools to assist in road repair and resurfacing.
- Set up traffic control signs, cones, and barriers to ensure safety on work sites.
- Assist in the installation of curbs, gutters, and drainage systems.
- Perform general labouring duties to support paving and maintenance crews.
Job Requirements
- Education: No formal education required
- Experience: Previous experience of at least one year in construction or roadwork is required;
- Language: English
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to handle physically demanding work; ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
