1. Summary of duties and responsibilities:
· Conduct comprehensive client consultations to gather health histories, assess symptoms, and identify factors affecting overall well-being
· Evaluate patients using traditional Chinese medicine principles to determine underlying imbalances and develop appropriate treatment strategies
· Create individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s health concerns, recovery goals, and treatment needs
· Perform acupuncture treatments by stimulating specific points on the body to help manage pain, improve physical function, and support wellness
· Utilize complementary therapeutic techniques such as cupping, acupressure, moxibustion, electro-acupuncture, or other approved modalities when appropriate
· Monitor patient progress throughout the course of treatment and adjust therapeutic approaches based on clinical outcomes
· Educate patients regarding treatment objectives, expected results, potential reactions, and recommended follow-up care
· Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications, nutrition, stress management, and wellness practices to support long-term health improvement
· Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including assessments, treatment notes, progress reports, and care recommendations
· Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards while ensuring a safe and hygienic clinical environment
· Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care
· Schedule follow-up appointments and evaluate treatment effectiveness to ensure continuity of care
2. Requirements:
· College/CEGEP
· 1 to 2 years work experiences
· Some university-level studies in science combined with training in a related healthcare field and supervised experience under a licensed acupuncturist.
3. Compensation:

· Location: 4138 Dawson Street, Burnaby, BC
· Terms of employment: Full-time / Permanent (30~40 Hours/w)
· Start date: ASAP
· Salary: $ 45.00~47.00 per hour
