2380092 Ontario Inc. O/A Motel 6 Huntsville has immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance person - building (NOC: 73201) at our location in Huntsville, Ontario.

As a Maintenance person - building (NOC: 73201)   you will perform some or all of the following duties:

• Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repairs.
• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, making minor purchases as necessary.
• Address resident requests for minor repairs promptly.
• Conduct daily inspections of building systems.
• Make minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
• Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
• Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
• Ensure that security equipment is working, and deal with concierge/security staff on security and access issues
• Ensure that the assigned equipment is prepared and operational for the following day’s work.
• Supervise other workers.

Qualifications:

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience is required.  
• Demonstrated physical ability to perform all activities

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (35-40 hours/week)

Compensation: CA $ 34.50 /hour
