Food Counter Attendant

A&W Whitehorse (Turnaround Foods Ltd.) is seeking 4 full-time, permanent, Food Counter Attendants (NOC65201) to start immediately. (2222 2nd Avenue, Whitehorse, Yukon, Y1A 1C8)

Your Role
As a Food Counter Attendant, you’re the friendly face guests meet first. You’ll take orders, serve up great food, and help create a fast, welcoming experience. This role is perfect if you enjoy working with people, staying busy, and want a job that fits around school, sports, or other commitments.

Duties & Responsibilities
Guest Service & Cash Handling
• Take orders and handle payments using our POS system
• Greet guests and answer menu questions
• Ensure every order is accurate and delivered with a smile

Food Service Support
• Assist teammates with preparing and serving food and drinks
• Help keep service running smoothly during busy periods

Cleanliness & Operations
• Restock fridges, cupboards, and workstations
• Keep dining areas clean, organized, and guest‑ready
• Assist with dining room, restroom, and exterior cleanliness to maintain a positive guest experience
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards

Teamwork
• Support your team and contribute to a positive work environment
• Jump in where needed to help the shift run smoothly
