Dispatch Coordinator

$31.25 hourly

As the Dispatcher Coordinator, the position is responsible for the following duties:

Receive, manage, and efficiently dispatch incoming telephone calls and e-mails.
Dispatch technicians and maintain their job schedules ensuring to prioritize the most urgent and profitable calls.
Review/proofread, send, and follow up on quotes.
Create job tickets from quotes or incoming calls/e-mails.
Relay accurate information to technicians, ensuring the very best in customer experience.
Follow up with technicians to ensure job notes and time are recorded and reported fully in our electronic jobs system.
Oversee the whereabouts of each technician and anticipate their needs to achieve optimal performance.
Ensure jobs flow efficiently from creation through to completion.
Serve as a primary point of contact for customer service delivery inquiries and comments.
Maintain on-calls schedules.

Education, Credentials and Experience Requirement:

Bachelor degree or higher with a specialization in business or related field  
Fluency in English – Written and spoken.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Geographical knowledge of the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
Have 2 or more years of experience in a similar dispatching position.
Proven ability to act as a liaison between customers and technicians.
Self-starter who is assertive and willing to “go the extra mile” for our customers and the team.
Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to spot obstacles and make judgment decisions.
Advanced customer service and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to work comfortably under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
Ability to build trust, diffuse conflict, and hold others accountable.
