Responsibilities
Tasks
- Prepare and cook a variety of custom pizzas according to customer orders and recipes
- Stretch, shape, and portion pizza dough by hand or using equipment
- Apply sauces, cheeses, meats, vegetables, and specialty toppings based on order specifications
- Operate pizza ovens and monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure proper quality
- Prepare and cook related menu items such as appetizers, garlic bread, and small side dishes
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control standards
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations at all times
- Clean and sanitize workstations, kitchen equipment, and food preparation areas
- Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and ingredient preparation
- Receive and store food supplies in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Coordinate order flow and assist in prioritizing kitchen tasks during busy periods
- Provide guidance and basic training to new kitchen helpers or junior staff
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety and food handling procedures among team members
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure timely service
- Handle multiple orders efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Other duties as assigned
