PALL-CON CONSTRUCTION LTD. has an immediate opening for an experienced Construction Estimators (NOC: 22303) at our location in Schomberg, Ontario.
As a, Construction Estimators (NOC: 22303) you will perform some or all of the following duties:
· Prepare and estimate budget costs of materials, labour and equipment for construction projects by carefully studying plans, drawings, and specifications
· Evaluate offers to purchase based on site requirements, material additions, and costing changes
· Write, prepare, and present budgets, cost reports, and project plans to management
· Establish, manage, and maintain the tendering and bidding process
· Work closely with engineers, architects, project owners, and contractors on feasibility studies and adjust cost estimates when required
· Resolve cost discrepancies by analyzing data and collecting relevant project information
· Stay up to date with safety codes, construction standards, and industry improvements
· Assist in maintaining and updating a directory of suppliers, subcontractors, and contractors
· Manage and coordinate construction projects and prepare construction progress schedules.

Qualifications:
· Completion of a three-year college program in civil or construction engineering technology is required.
· A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in construction estimating or a related role is required
· WHMIS Certificate is required,
· Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost control.
· Proven Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
· Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines under pressure.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (30 to 40 hours/week)
Compensation: $60,500 annually
