As part of our growing construction operations, we are seeking a Commercial Sign Installer to support exterior installation work on commercial and development projects. The role involves installing signage systems, structural sign components, and prefabricated exterior elements at construction and renovation sites.

Hours: 30–35 hours per week
Wage: $36.00 per hour

Work Location: On-site at project locations based out of GTA

Job Responsibilities

As a Commercial Sign Installer at Pearl Builders Group Ltd., you will:

• Install commercial signage, exterior sign structures, and prefabricated components at construction and development project sites
• Measure, mark, and prepare installation locations to ensure accurate positioning and alignment of signage systems
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and installation specifications to determine installation requirements
• Assemble and install sign frames, brackets, mounting systems, and structural support components
• Load, transport, and unload signage materials, installation equipment, and construction supplies
• Prepare and maintain installation tools, materials, and work equipment required for project tasks
• Perform repair, servicing, and adjustments of installed signage and related structures
• Assist with erecting scaffolding, aerial work platforms, and other temporary structures required for installation work
• Follow construction safety standards and workplace safety procedures on job sites
• Work collaboratively with project supervisors and construction teams to complete installation activities efficiently

Experience and Skills

Minimum Experience:
1-7 months in signage installation or related field work

Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

• Experience using hand and power tools for construction and installation work
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and installation specifications
• Knowledge of safe installation practices for exterior prefabricated products
• Familiarity with installation of commercial signs, billboard structures, or metal framework systems

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• Fast-paced construction and installation environment
• Physically demanding work including lifting and handling installation materials
• Frequent work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or aerial work platforms
• Handling loads up to approximately 23–45 kg
• Outdoor work at construction and commercial project sites
• Repetitive tasks requiring attention to detail and precision
