As a Marketing Coordinator (TEER 1: 11202), you will perform all of the following duties:
- Assess characteristics of products or services to be promoted to determine marketing and advertising needs of an establishment
- Provide guidance to clients on marketing, advertising, and sales promotion options and recommend suitable strategies
- Plan, develop, and execute direct and digital marketing campaigns, including creation of supporting content
- Analyze completed campaigns to measure effectiveness and prepare performance reports and key marketing metrics
- Help prepare marketing and communication materials such as brochures, newsletters, reports, and related documents
- Represent clients or act on behalf of individuals with specific professional or specialized expertise
- Prepare or supervise the drafting of contracts related to sports, literary work, performances, or similar agreements
- Conduct surveys on public opinion and attitudes to understand the needs and interests of target groups
- Develop and review reports, presentations, press releases, speeches, websites, briefs, and bibliographies
- Organize and coordinate events, including workshops, meetings, ceremonies, fundraising activities, and public information programs
- Develop and maintain social media accounts, including managing customer reviews and testimonials
- Develop, implement and evaluate public relations strategies and programs designed to inform clients, employees and the general public of initiatives and policies of businesses, governments and other organizations
- Arrange interviews, news conferences and other media events
- Act as spokesperson for an organization and answer written and oral inquiries
- Coordinate special publicity events and promotions for internal and external audiences
Qualification:
· A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, advertising, or a related field
· Some work experience in marketing, advertising, or public relations (usually 1–2 years)
· Good communication and writing skills
· Basic knowledge of digital marketing like social media, SEO, or online advertising
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (35 hours/week)
Compensation: $ 38.00/hr.
