Manj Drywall Services Ltd. located at 8119 158th Street Surrey, BC, V4N 0S5 has an immediate vacancy of 1 Carpenter. Position is Full Time, Permanent, $32.25/hour. Applicant should have completed Secondary (high) school certificate. Must be able to work at heights, noisy and dusty environment. Applicant must also have 1-2 years of related experience. Language of work will be English.
Job duties involve:
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
- Survey building locations and levels
- Estimate costs and materials
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
