Gourmet Carleton Place Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager (NOC: 60030) at our location in Carleton Place, Ontario.
As a Restaurant Assistant Manager, you will perform some or all of the following duties:
• Manage the inventory and order food and beverages, equipment, supplies and modify
procedures and prices
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, and supervising staff, and support ongoing staff development
• Assist in staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
• Assist in Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the operations of a restaurant, cafeteria, or other food or beverage service
• Assist in overseeing food preparation, portion control, and overall presentation to maintain quality standards
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and operational efficiency
• Ensure employees comply with health and food safety standards and regulations
• Resolve customer complaints and addressing concerns related to food quality or services
• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Assist in coordinating with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Support arrangements with clients for catering services or use of facilities for banquets or receptions
• Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service
Qualifications:
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (30-40 hours/week)
Compensation: CA $ 28.00 /hour
