Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible
Work Location: Surrey, BC, and various other job sites in the Lower Mainland area (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients.
Position Responsibilities
· Read blueprints or work order specifications.
· Determine layout and installation procedures.
· Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations.
· Erect and install scaffolding or other working platforms.
· Prepare underlying surfaces for installation and perform minor repairs if needed for better installation lifetime.
· Install siding as per specifications and schematics for buildings using hand and power tools.
· Cut and trim materials to shape when fitting side around windows or corners, using knife, shears, or portable power saw.
Job requirements:
● Completion of Secondary school would be considered an asset but not mandatory.
● Minimum 1 year of installation work experience in a similar field is required.
● Ability to communicate in English.
