Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and order. Training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of foods Making adjustments to accommodate clients with specific diet and health concerns. Monitoring and managing cooking tools and ingredients. Setting up the workstation. Developing recipes that comply with company policy. Assisting other cooks to ensure that food orders are completed in a timely manner. Monitoring supplies and re-ordering stock as needed.
