1. Job Description
• Modify food preparation methods and menu prices in accordance with the restaurant’s budget and cost requirements.
• Plan, organize, and monitor daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule staff, while monitoring performance and conducting reviews.
• Determine the types of services offered and implement operational procedures accordingly.
• Cost products and services to maintain profitability and pricing accuracy.
• Ensure full compliance with provincial/territorial liquor regulations as well as health and safety standards.
• Negotiate with clients regarding catering services or facility usage.
• Participate in marketing planning and implementation to support business growth.
• Lead and instruct staff to maintain service quality and operational efficiency.
• Address customer complaints or concerns and provide a high standard of customer service.
• Plan and manage events to enhance customer experience and increase revenue.
2. Requirements
• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
• 2 years to less than 3 years work experience
• Strong working knowledge of food and beverage service
• Strong leadership and communication skills (English proficiency)
• Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Team player
