Job Description:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Prepare specialized meals based on dietary requirements, as directed by a chef
- Schedule and supervise the activities of kitchen staff and helpers.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and food safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of food items, supplies, and kitchen equipment.
- Set up and manage buffet stations when required.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and work areas in accordance with sanitation regulations.
- Assist in menu planning, including determining portion sizes, estimating food requirements and costs, and ordering necessary supplies.
- Participate in hiring and training of new kitchen staff as needed.

- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

- 1 year to less than 2 years
